Nine years ago I bought a home that needed renovating, so over the years I have dealt with many contractors, both good and bad. I contracted Modern Fence to fence in my yard. Thursday, January 10 2010 I purchased a large PVC fence fro Phil Marin Approximately 7 years ago. From minute number one Phil and his men were nothing short of professional and accommodating. The fence was put up in an efficient manner utilizing expert installers. The fence has not moved and has stayed straight as an arrow even with the snow plow coming by and piling large amounts of snow against it. One time the snow was actually to the very top of the fence ! My fence recently got hit by paint-balls which put several holes in the panels. I called Phil and he was over my house in 2 hours to assess the damage. He again proved to me why i chose this company in the first place....he personally repaired the broken panels quickly and meticulously. Again job well done!! I would not hesitate to recommend Modern Fence to anyone seriously looking for a quality fence. The price will be right , the work will be stellar, and Phil will stand by his product for years to come.

Phil Marin owner of Modern Fence installed a fence in our backyard in the summer of 2011. It was one of the best improvements we made on our house. We were indecisive about what color to get and Phil recommended a beige and white combination. What a difference it made to our yard!! We thoroughly enjoy sitting in our yard on summer days and relish the privacy we now have. we are in our own little paradise now !
Phil and his men were efficient and neat about their work. They worked diligently on some of the hottest days even though it was early June. Then in the Fall a branch came down from a storm and damaged a section of our new fence. Phil and his crew were there very shortly after to replace the section and you would never know it had been damaged.

Modern Fence installed a top quality product around our yard and on top of a new concrete retaining wall. We had a total of three companies come out to price the job. The two companies before Modern Fence, Two people came out to measure and assessed the areas measured and left. They did not come with samples, color chart or any information on the materials. They also did not inform us that the original area that we were asking for was not allowed by city ordinance.
When Phil showed up to measure we discussed the scope of the job and he measured the areas while i looked at the color samples he brought for me. When he was done Phil informed us of the city regulations about about fencing close to the street. If we had not known of that, our fence would have to been removed had it been put in by someone who had no idea.
After several chances made to our original plans we decided to have Modern do the job. Not only were they much lower priced than the other companies but their product was of a much higher Quality. They were the only ones willing to work all by hand and not bring large equipment and destroy our yard and new driveway just to make the installation "easier" ! Phil and his men did the work by hand and had no problems.Modern Fence was here each day as scheduled and did a clean up job at the end of each day- no mess was left.
Phil and his men installed the entire job within the time frame quoted. We were very happy with the work and the product installed and are happy to recommend Modern Fence to our friends and neighbors.
